On October 8, 2020, End Sepsis: The Legacy of Rory Staunton held a virtual 2020 National Forum on Sepsis.
The program opened with remarks from U.S. Senator Charles Schumer and featured leading sepsis experts who addressed pressing questions about the future of sepsis care and prevention. Questions like: How will the COVID-19 pandemic impact our approach to the prevention and diagnosis of sepsis? How are the two related? What tools and policies do we need to better address both conditions? What innovations are being developed during the current COVID-19 pandemic that could advance the fight to end sepsis?
HCA’s Stop Sepsis at Home initiative encourages all home care providers and clinicians to watch archive videos from the program here.
